Well - it looks like my plans of staying in bed reading and/or eating chocolate all weekend have been foiled by #1's marvellous girlfriend who is dragging me with them to Greenwich market tomorrow.

I love the "look" of vintage/retro clothing and jewellery; but when it comes down to it, it's basically secondhand, innit?? It brings up a whole lot of ethical questions, like: If someone didn't like it enough to keep it; should you really like it? Alternatively; is secondhand a.k.a vintage/retro stuff a bit like "blood diamonds" in the sense that someone had to die (sometimes in their sleep!!!!) so that you could own it? Hmmmmmm...
